I love this app and use it almost daily. The content is great and the app works nearly flawlessly. It would be nice to have a few more features. It would be helpful to be able to view the schedule of programs that go beyond a few hours. Otherwise you have to go to the website to view their full scheduled lineup. And while Im wishing, how about archiving Somewhere Street to watch on demand? Anyway, thanks and I hope this app continues to grow!!!

Yee This is awesome. At first I was like.. Really this looks fake. Since there were no ratings I was skeptical. I want to assure ratings readers that I am more than satisfied with the app. The app is really just a live stream. I was hoping it was more like Bloomberg app with articles and notifications, unfortunately it is only live stream.

I was very happy using my old 3GS watching your program on big TV screen through AirPlay until 2/26/15 when version 2.0.0 comes along.

Big Japan fan here. This is my favorite foreign streaming app. The quality of broadcast video and content is awesome. Nice mix of informative news, documentaries and entertainment. And it streams to my Apple TV through AirPlay perfectly. These other folks who say AirPlay doesnt work must have have other issues with their devices. Great app NHK!

The problems with streaming from the iPod touch to Apple TV appear to have been fixed in the latest version. This makes it much for useful for me and restores functionality that had been lost.

Yay! AirPlay to AppleTV works now. Great app, as simple as they get. I only wish it had some form of basic catch play functionality.

New update (Ver 3.0.0) doesnt work on iPod Touch 4th Gen with iOS 6.1.6. App doesnt even open. Update ruined this amazing app. Please fix it!

NHK is one of the best! Not only for the news, but all so for all the other content, documentaries are the best. If you are looking for good news and entertainment give NHK a try you will enjoy it. Keep it coming NHK.

App works great, my Internet must have had a problem yesterday.

I wish they put it in japanese, but overall its good.

For over a week this app wouldnt work unless connected to wifi. Fussed with settings and deleted some unused apps from phone as well as reloaded app. Not sure what worked, but app is fine now.

No more airplay options to watch on apple tv. Whats sup?????????

I love this channel for its news and its chill features. super heady. I wish I could watch previous programs on it but I know you can search those on their web page so party on, 100%, as you were.

Excellent app for watching the English NHK stream. Its reliable, as long as my device is connected to the internet, this app plays video (something that doesnt always happen with other apps). While it also works well wth Airplay on Apple TV I wish there was a dedicated Apple TV version.

I love the app but Im having issues with it. When i start it, it will play for a bit and then start repeating parts of a segment continuously. It has become very frustrating to watch because the program wont go past those repeated parts.

This is a good app and it does play TV but it does rewind a bit and continues to play a scene and I cant watch anime on this I thought it would have anime since it shows Japanese things pls make a Japanese channel for anime app plz
