I have an iPhone 4S with iOS6. The major issue Im currently experiencing is when the video skips about one minute back or ahead. Sometimes in a 30 minute period this happens about a dozen times. It sometimes makes the shows unwatchable because you keep losing your place. Also sometimes the video periodically has trouble starting. Not as bad as the first issue though. It is to the point where I just go to the website to watch since there are no problems there. That all said, the programming and shows are very enjoyable. Id recommend it mainly because of that. I just hope they address the issues.

This app is really good and simple to use.

The sound is so terrible and annoying. The picture is not good and clear either. It cannot be an application from NHK.

In todays glitzy media and shock and sensitized journalism this TV has managed to remain simple and humble like a home baked bread. App is similarly designed to be simple and does exactly what it is supposed to do - without unnecessary bells and whistles!! Can you pls make it Google Chromcastable

This is how other Apple TV apps should work. No hiccups, no problems streaming. It just works. Open the app and it starts playing the live stream and offers a program guide on left. Theres also options to search for on demand programs. Theres little to no wait, almost no buffering, to start an on demand show. The actual content,the shows, are also excellent, very interesting and informative.

Great programing, and exemplary execution. I only wish they had more on demand options, such as Supreme Skills! which is an awesome engineering / craftsmanship show. The app works very well!

I am familiar with NHKs programs; TV, radio, and website. The quality of the material itself is phenomenal. The one major and decisive issue with it is that listening/watching in Japanese is not an option. It should be a no-brainier option, especially considering the potential it has to educate others on Japanese culture and in the language. Perhaps a later update could rectify this issue, but for now it is a major opportunity missed.

Im a big fan of NHK to get my fix for Japanese news and culture. This app is easy to navigate and has all the programs that I enjoy on it.

Great app and content, but video wont play in the background after this latest update. Returning to the Home screens quits the video (to AppleTV). Please fix this feature.

I love the live streaming and all of the programs that are available. Definitely one of my favorite apps.
